Celine Dion Jupiter Island
Celine Dion is one of the world’s biggest stars. Selling upwards of 200 million albums has brought her a long way from from the tiny, nondescript town of Charlemagne near Montreal where she grew up.
The singer admits she was neither pretty nor popular growing up. Awkward at best. And those who still love to Celine Bash can eat crow. Now Quebec’s most famous export lives in an opulent manor on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Jupiter Island, Florida, and sells out stadiums around the planet.
Celine Dion’s Jupiter Island home isn’t on a private island per se, but considering the density of celebrity and money per square mile on the island, it’s considered a private utopia reserved for the uber rich and famous. Jupiter Island has a population of 650 people and is home to some of the wealthiest people in the United States. The island boasts the second highest income per capita in the country. Celine Dion rubs shoulders with Tiger Woods and singer Alan Jackson over on Jupiter Island.
Celine Dion, the wafer thin hit-maker from Quebec, is literally drowning in money. She built a water park in the backyard of her Florida mansion that includes a titanic size pool, a river and a water slide. Celine Dion bought her 6 acre beachfront property in 2005 for $12.5 million. She levelled the existing structures to build her own estate that now features two guesthouses, two tennis courts, a pool cabana and a beach cabana. The main house is almost 10,000 square feet with six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, an elevator and staff living quarters.
